Yanmar to showcase innovative products at the ISH exhibition in Frankfurt

Yanmar will be showing two products this year. The GHP is a tried and tested design featuring an integrated heat exchanger. So impressed were they with this innovative and sustainable solution, in 2014 the German Working Group for Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Energy Consumption awarded it the German Gas Industry Award for Innovation & Climate Protection. It’s the first compact unit that can be used for simultaneous heating and cooling.

The design was developed in conjunction with our German partner KKU Concept GmbH, and representatives of both companies will be at the stand to answer questions.

The GeoThermal brine-to-water gas heat pump is a novel new concept that is believed to be the only device of its type. The unique design combines the benefits of the primary energy carrier, natural gas, with an electrical brine-to-water heat pump. By using engine waste heat, the machine is very efficient, and also very flexible. What’s more it’s eligible for funding in certain countries and exempt from energy tax. For the German market it meets both the EnEV 16 (Energy Saving Regulations) and the EEWärmeG (Renewable Energy Heat Act).

Kenichi Nakao, Manager Yanmar Energy Systems Department, says, “We are really looking forward to the exhibition. The GHP has proven itself in industrial applications around the world and the GeoThermal offers something no one else can. And it’s great that KKU Concept will be there too so we can’t wait to welcome customers to hall 11.0, stand B40 to see what we can do for them.”
